The team headed by Dr. Manju P. Jilla is working in the field of infertility since 1988.
Her qualifications are MBBS and MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She was the first gynecologist of the region to start Transvaginal Sonography, Gynecological endoscopic (Key hole) surgery, Color Doppler Ultrasound, Intra-uterine insemination (IUI), In-Vitro fertilization (IVF) and Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) Centre and immunotherapy for recurrent pregnancy loss. Along with her dedicated team she has to her credit the 1st IVF pregnancy of the region similarly the 1st Donor egg pregnancy, 1st ICSI pregnancy are all from her centre, similarly 1st successful pregnancy with immunotherapy for recurrent abortions was also from her centre. She has performed more than 10,000 lapro - hystroscopic surgeries and has mastered difficult Laparoscopic surgeries like Myomectomies and Techniques of laproscopic Endosuturing. She regularly trains post graduates in Endoscopy from all over the world. She has a keen interest in IVF and ICSI and does the Embryology herself, so that she can quickly identify any trouble shooting problem in this very sensitive science. She is determined to maintain the highest quality equipments and strive to keep her ongoing pregnancy rates around 35 to 40%, she has best IVF lab infrastructure in the country. She performs around 25 cycles a month -has more than 250 IVF babies to her credit. She gives guidance to troubled IVF labs, also takes up projects of setting up IVF labs. She also gives excellent hands on training in ICSI to Embryologists . Students from Southern and Northern India , Saudi Arabia , Libya , Qatar have been guided by her.
