What is low sperm count ?
If the semen sample has less than 15million sperms per millilitre of semen it is categorised as low sperm count. This is generally seen in the semen analysis test. Men with low sperm count will generally face difficulty in conceiving. If they don’t help then ICSI (intra cytoplasmic sperm injection) is the treatment of choice. With this treatment the couple will conceive within one month.
